Why we started: Crafted for Scotland.
We struggled to find an electric campervan that matched the quiet beauty of Scotland - so we designed and built our own.
As professional local woodworkers, we hand-crafted our first van Juniper right here in Edinburgh. Every detail is custom built for adventure and comfort, from the warmth of the plywood cabinetry to the traditional Scottish tweed cushions. We created OHM campers to give you a bespoke, luxury space to unplug and explore.

Probably the best campervan to drive on Scottish roads.
The size is perfect for Scottish single track roads, it fits in one parking space and at 1.95m tall it can fit under most height restriction barriers so you can actually park in the beach car parks. All of this also means its much cheaper to take on the ferries to the islands.
You’ll wonder why anyone would want a van bigger than this.

We promote responsible, sustainable travel and always recommend campsites where available for the best nights sleep, least stress, and most integration with local communities.
There are lots of great campsites in Scotland for affordable prices.(You don’t need to pay for an electric hookup when your van is part power station).
We’ve compiled our favourite stand out campsites on key routes you can view here.

Check out our Charging page for more info, but in summary; It’s really easy!
We recommend bringing your own Electroverse Card.
You can order a card for freehere.
Most rapid chargers in the UK are on the Electroverse network / app and the card makes charging easy and often cheaper than paying direct. The campervan comes with a Type-2 charging cable and a domestic 3-pin charger for if you aren’t using a rapid charger (which have the cables built in).
-
Yes.
The included insurance fully covers for taking the van on official ferries to the Scottish Islands.
-
A child can come, however please note that the van has a maximum capacity of 2 people including the driver and has no isofix points.
Its your responsibility to supply a car seat that will fit if required. -
Unfortunately we don’t allow pets in the campervan.

We have two types of deposits: a booking deposit to secure your dates, and a security deposit for the vehicle itself.
Booking Deposit: To secure your reservation, we require a 25% deposit at the time of booking, fully refundable (up to 30 days before the hire start). The remaining 75% balance is then due 30 days before your trip begins.
Security Deposit: Before your trip begins, a £750 security deposit will be required from your card. This can be paid up to 7 days before your booking starts or when collecting, although to smooth the collection process this will ideally be paid at least 24 hours before pickup. This is released within 7 days of returning the van, provided it is brought back undamaged, with no missing equipment, and in accordance with our terms.
Booking and security deposits are explained here.
